Description
Made of 9 pieces of curved oak butted together into which the two round oak sides have been fitted into grooves. It is bounded with two hickory bands 1 1/2" wide top and bottom which are spliced with large tongues and grooves. One side piece has square block in center with 1" holes drilled through it which has a worn thread for a plug. Has shims. Belonged to George Cook. Scratched on one end "C B 1763" "S B" "P B 1765" on the reverse side "D B"
