Description
Copy of a Greek pin found in Rome Italy. The handle is an arch of silver rings with a large coil spring at one end. The spring continues as a long pin which rests on a flat leaf-shaped piece at other end of handle. Small Greek coin inserted in center of leaf.
Comment
Copy of a fibula or pin used on costume of the Vestal Virgins in Rome. Original found under ruins of a house in Rome, Italy.
