Description
A circle of human hair, partly braided, mounted in rectangular box with poem on left and silver paper stars pasted in corners. Embossed marble paper and colored paper used as passe-partout. On reverse, mesh canvas with cross-stitched lettering, "Olive C. McMahon/to/Minnie W. Barber."
Comment
Poem reads: “On the fadeless hills eternal, Loved one we shall see thy face. In those realms of bliss supernal, View the crowned with heavenly grace, Earth’s temptations fade from sight ‘Mid those boundless fields of light.”
