used by Private Charles W. Talcott during Civil War. Talcott was from Northfield and married Mary Jane Curtiss. Talcott belonged to the Co. D 2nd CT Heavy Artillery. He was mustered on July 7, 1865. He drove a mule cart for the army and was wounded during service
