Tea Pot

Drum-shaped teapot (A) with twisted, grooved handle having four leaves where it attaches to the body. Straight "bamboo" spout, flat top, and low neck collar. Flat, round lid (B) with pomegranate and three leaf finial. Finial is gilt with blue leaves. Decoration is of tiny blue dots and a gold chain band on base. Each side has brown Asian flower pot containing blue flowers flecked with gold. Four tiny sprays at corners of side panels, leaf handle ornaments highlighted with blue and gold. Edge of cover and top have wide blue bands with gold edges and gold scalloped line with gold and blue floral pendant. Base line repeated on cover.
