Description
Streetlamp, copper and glass lantern, graduated rectangular shape with cupola, four glass panels one opens, central light, all on a painted green iron lamp post with four curved arms for hanging flower baskets, the design of the lantern based on a photograph of a light on West Street, Litchfield, from the 1850-70's. Made for the 1996 exhibition: "A Continuing Tradition; Litchfield County Craftsmanship Today"
