Description
Bonnet Top Chest on Chest with a broken arch top. Three flame and urn finials above three short drawers, center with carved shell, over four graduated long drawers on top chest. Four graduated long drawers on bottom chest. Molding along skirt and top of bonnet. The piece was purchased in Marion, CT in 1901, and was given by the donor's father to the donor's mother as a wedding gift. The piece has earlier evidence of being painted red.
