Description
Purse or reticule made of cream colored Russian lace and lined with pink satin. Drawstring of lace with tassel at end on each side of top of bag. The lace is accented with small round silver sequins are regular intervals. There is a flap of materials above the drawstring pocket.
Comment
This purse was made from the lace worn at the Winter Palace at St. Petersburg, Russia by Mary Perkins Quincy on the occasion of the Blessing of the Waters by the Czar Nicholas II and afterwards at the Winter Palace Epiphany in 1911
