Description
Large, gently flaring cup with c-shaped handle. Thick gold band and thin band on inner rim. Thick gold band on foot and handle. Body decorated with very fine black transfer printed scene of 2 boys and a girl by a lion-headed fountain in a garden planting a tree. Saucer is deep, with wide and narrow gold band on rim with thin gold circle in the center. Both pieces marked with incised "t," probably a gilder's mark, as they were paid by the piece.
