Description
A: Scales are brass with two round trays. Bottom of one etched "1777". Each tray has three pieces of twine attached to sides which connect to brass bar above trays. B: Wooden box with small diamond on lid of inlaid ivory. Lid hinged with small brass hinges. Interior lined with red velvet. Small square pocket in bottom right hand corner of box. C: 10 round and square weights of various sizes.

Used in apothecary shop of Luke Lewis. From house of his granddaughter, Miss Mary Phelps.
