Description
Five sheets of paper that have been pasted together. Chart with years down two sides. Begins with "Fall of Man" on left side of chart. "Birth of Christ" in center and ends at year 1800. Different colored lines show progression and history of different civilizations. Historic and biblical events written next to lines at corresponding dates.
Provenance
Marian R. Lewis attended the Litchfield Female Academy between 1814 and 1815. She was one of four daughters of Luke and Mary Root Lewis, all of whom attended the LFA. It is possible her name is also spelled Mary Ann Lewis (see Mary Ann R. Lewis, LHS Archives); there was another LFA Student named Mary Ann Lewis, who attended in 1826.
