Description
Three Sheraton style shield back side chairs. Upholstered seat in light blue velvet - not original. Upholstered tacked down on side with brass tacks. Shield shaped splat with Prince of Whales feather motif surmounting swags, 1/4 rosette at base of shield. Square tapered legs with spade feet. Plain rear legs.

Chairs descended from home of Julius Deming. The line of descendent is is Julius Deming (1755-1838) to his son Frederick Deming (1789 - ca.1860) to his son Frederick Deming II (1832 - ca. 1917) to his son Dudley Deming (1874 - ca. 1946) to his daughter Aletta Langdon Deming (1912-2003)
