Description
Tea cup is white with gold bands, gold lines on its handle, and a band with a gold border and red leaf and scroll around the top edge. Asian inspired design.
Comment
This is the wedding tea set of Anna Pierce Brace, (Mrs. Charles Loring, married May 6, 1818). Wedgwood #714, "Bittersweet." It was inherited from Mrs. Pennypacher's mother, Mrs. Ruth Loring Whitman; and by her from Mary Hopkins Loring; and by her from Anna Pierce Brace Loring.
