West Point gray wool dress uniform peaked hat. Brass hat badge at center front. Badge is a shield topped by the American bald eagle and the Academy's motto of "Duty / Honor / Country" and "West Point / MDCCCII (1802) / USMA," helmet of Pallas Athena (symbol of wisdom and learning, and a sword (traditional emblem of the military. Black wool twill band. Black plastic bill. Black wool twill band. Black plastic bill. Black wool piping. Brass side buttons with shield and CADET / USMA embossed. Brown plastic interior band. Clear plastic at top with maker printed and sleeve for name tag. Twill tape bow at center back.

Worn by the donor when he was at West Point Academy 1981-85.
