            Description
                Mother of pearl carved shell; scene in center of Jesus riding a mule entering Jerusalem - palm swags on either side of him and crowd of men behind him.  Jesus has a halo around his head with burst of light.  Word "Jerusalem" underneath scene; floral pierced design on bottom of shell;  back side of shell smooth and uncarved

                According to donor - "Carved shell from the China Seas. Brought by Miss Quincy at Bethlehem, Palestine in 1899.  The shell was blessed in the Chapel of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre at Jerusalem - for Miss Quincy"
