Description
A - Brown paper accordian style portfolio. Lined with linen. Sides sewn together. Linen tie at top. Written in ink on both sides "Mary Deming Perkins/at Miss Swift's School/1834" B-O - Only one pencil sketch is signed "Mary D. Perkins" the others are unsigned or signed by other artists. Some of the sketches were done by Mary's siblings Lucretia and Julius. Majority are pencil with three watercolors. Mostly landscapes and drawings of flowers. On both paper and heavy board in various sizes.

Originally house with the Mary Perkins Quincy collection in the Archives but moved to the museum collection in 2010.
