Description
Redware crock or jar, very tall, formed on a wheel, slip interior, rolled rim, footed base, integral handles, stamped on one side outside near rim: "G.WOLFF/1996, on opposite side: LITCHFIELD/H.S.M" Reproduction of a Hervey Brooks design (19th C Goshen potter) from the Collection (1956-04-1). On bottom, line incised: "G Wolff/ 1996". Rolled in grass and dirt to antique. Made for exhibition for LHS.
