Description
Paper knife carved from the wood of the Whipping Post Elm which was felled in Litchfield in 1959. Flat piece of wood, comes to point at one end.
Comment
The Whipping Post Elm was located on the corner of South and East Sts in Litchfield. The pen knife was given by Mr. Poole to Eugene Dooman of South St. and given by his wife Dorothy Dooman to the Historical Society.
