A: Mother of pearl handle on brass with steel blade. Steel at top of handle before blade. Stampled on blade "O" with a crown, man's head and lion. B: Highly ornate mother of pearl handle with steel plate for initials. Steel blade with top portion also decorated. Initials "DD" on knife. Possibly for Dorthy Deming

Said to have belonged to Charles William and Julius Deming but the intials D.D. may indicate Dorothy Deming. The knife (b) came from Lucretia Deming's strong box
