Description
Small pencil sketch of the Thomas Catlin House of Litchfield, CT. The image shows the front and right side of the house with another building and possibly the remains of a stone wall in the foreground. The image is quickly and lightly drawn on beige paper.
Provenance
This sketch was drawn by Roger Dennis of Niantic, CT when he was 93 years old and given ton William L. Warren when he was living in the Thomas Catlin House.
Comment
Sketch is signed and dated on the front of the piece. The history of the object is written on the paper backing of the frame.
