Provenance
Souvenirs were a regular feature of Club meetings in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Between 1903 and 1907, guests at the Club's meetings in Norfolk were presented with individual pieces of a porcelain tea set as souvenirs. Newspaper coverage states that the pieces were marked with the Club's crest and described them as Limoges porcelain, named for the hard-paste porcelain factories in and around Limoges, France. These documents can be found in the LCUC scrapbooks in the LHS Archives
