Short dark blue wool jacket; hem, collar, and front opening edged with wide black loose weave ribbon; front closed with hooks and eyes - 8 total; two vents in back, also edged with ribbon; left side has longer opening and one button to keep closed; shoulder insignia - gold cord edged rectangle on yellow ground, one bar at each end; stand up collar; label inside pocket "Brooks Brothers Broadway, New York"
