Silver watch case, white enamel face. Watch damaged when bullet passed through it. Watch carried by Sgt. Major E. Goodwin Osborn when he was killed before Petersburg, VA March 25, 1865. After striking the watch, the ball passed through his body. Osborn did not survive. Part of 2nd Connecticut Heavy Artillary
