Description
Green leather bill file or organizer. Large wallet shape with fold-over front flap with tongue and slot closure. Opens to accordian pleated interior with 13 pockets, edged in red leather with a black leather tab embossed in gold lettering with the names of the twelve months. Belonged to Reuben Morris Woodruff (1811-1849) of Litchfield, married Eliza Reeve Thompson, niece of Elizabeth (Thompson), Mrs. Tapping Reeve.
