Description
Blue cotton wedding dress with rounded neckline and long sleeves. Dress is full length and gathers at waist. Chest blouses out from waist. Inset and applied white lace decoration throughout. White floral embroidery down front. Small tucks and pleats on back, front torso, arms, and skirt. Twelve small white buttons on back of dress from neck down to waist. Seven hooks and eyes below buttons.

This wedding dress was worn by Tekla Staszowski on October 14, 1911 in Torrington, CT for her wedding to Peter Litwin. Born in Rzeszow, Poland in 1892, Mrs. Litwin passed away in 1982 and had been a resident of Litchfield, CT since 1928.
