Description
Two pewter dishes used as toys or child's play dishes, marked on bottom "FREEPORT, PA" with maker's mark "C", possibly for Carson. Fairly deep dish with wide rim.
Provenance
Included with tea sets and child's teaware belonging to Margaret Sargent Fisher, wife of Samuel H. Fisher, who grew up in New Haven in the 1870s-1880s. Later displayed in Babbitt home.
