Description
Three-piece G.A.R. reunion medal. Gold metal bar pin with part of the red silk ribbon woven through it with printing: "1ST C.V.H. ART'Y." Bottom of the bar pin has a suspended round silver medal with one side a cannon monument and the other side the seal of the state of Connecticut. From the bar pin and behind the silver medal is a red satin ribbon with fringed bottom with gold lettering: "14TH AN'L / REUNION / AND DEDICATION / HARTFORD CONN. / SEPT. 25, 1902." Stamped mark at back and top of ribbon.
