Description
Part A of glazed chintz bed furniture A, B, & C. Dust skirt 17.875”x200” bottom, shirred at top on chintz tape which retains twine drawstring and hand wrought tacks. Hemmed at bottom .375”. Glazed chintz roller printed. Reserve printed in light turquoise blue and tan, overprinted black on striped ground with white alternating with gray dot and raindrop machine ground- possibly American design is floral on machine ground with tan flowers on a blue vine, both shaded in black with black thorns 5.125”w alternating stripe 4.75” wide width printed. Picot edge has white cartouches on blue accented with tan and shaded in black. It seems that this might be an inexpensive version of a brocade design.
