Square black leather case with purple velvet lining at bottom and ivory silk lining in lid for medal. Lid stamped on inside with, "C.G. BRAXMAR CO./ FRATERNAL JEWELRY/ 242 WEST 55TH STREET/ NEW YORK." The medal is gold. On one side in relief is woman in Grecian-style drapery and flowing hair holding a laurel wreath and standing on a shore with water and mountains in the background. Around the edges in relief is "THE HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY OF NEW YORK/ 1902." The reverse side of the medal is engraved, "AWARDED TO/ THE GARDEN CLUBS/ OF/ LITCHFIELD/ MILLBROOK & MORRISTOWN/ FOR GREEN GARDEN/ DEMONSTRATION/ INTERNATIONAL/ FLOWER SHOW/ 1952."
