Description
Board blanket chest with solid bottom and sides, divided into two even compartments with hinged lids. Simple moulding on three sides of lids to secure fit. Simple tapered set-in wrought-iron iron strap hinges inside. Painted in red and black graining paint.
Comment
Tradition in the Hunt family is that this chest was made by and came from the home of Silas Cheney.
