Description
Two identical strips of woven fabric, wide stripe of geometric pattern in blue, yellow and white reserve on red, all on muslin. Paper label in ink attached "Handwoven, spun and embroidered by Turkish war refugee women at Broussa, Asia Minor, under the direction of the American Red Cross. This textile can only be made in strips - the price to produce is 5 piastres or 20 cents. (1912) Loaned by Miss Quincy"
