Redware jar with glazed interior; glazed top orange with yellow spots; "8 1765" in white slip on outside; ill formed top and neck opening - 1/4" slip down from neck with 1/2" rim for lip. Lid to jar 1" high x 4 3/8" diameter

Lopsided shape and crudeness of design suggest that it was probably the work of an apprentice who was learning the trade
