Olive drab garrison cap, World War II era. Folds flat with height less in front than back; on side, near front is circular gold pin with torch in front of starburst design (Torch of Knowledge insignia worn by ROTC cadets); hat has no lining and small cotton band on inside.

Worn by Edward A. Raymond of Litchfield, Connecticut, while serving in U.S. Army during World War II.
