Description
Queen Anne style splat back side chair. Spanish foot. Front legs turned - block, vase, block, ring, bulb with shaft holding seat corner block. Front single stretcher turned with trumpet ends, rings, round to bulb, groove and center ring. Bottom side stretchers plainer verious of front stretcher. Upper side stretchers thinner, very plainly turned with single back stretcher simplest of all. Canted back legs, stiles thumbnail groove edging continuin to bow shaped crest rail with extra grooves towards center. Vase shaped splat seems to have been installed upside down during repairs and painting. Rush seat, not original
