Description
Three legged bottom with round body with collar for lid; tabs on either end for handle which is flat piece in round shape and outward hook ends. Large base spout with C neck.
Comment
"Given to Stanley Coe by Miss Delia Westover of Bantam. She said that an ancestor drove a flock of sheep to New York and after selling them, he bought the kettle with part of the proceeds and walked home loaded down with the kettle." See also 1951-20-1 for a similar story.
