Purple satin ribbon with rosette of purple satin at top, circular button in center. Button stamped at center in gold lettering, "1952." Two satin tails extending below rosette. Left tail stamped with gold lettering, "LITCHFIELD COUNTY/HOUND SHOW." Metal hook on reverse of rosette with blue and white paper label for Pegasus Sales Co., New York, NY.
Provenance
The Litchfield County Hounds was a fox hunting club that held weekly hunts in Litchfield until 2002. The club also maintained a kennel for their hounds, held trail rides at White Memorial, ran hunter pace events, and organized a Hunt Ball.
