Rectangular wooden block with turned and rounded handles on two sides projecting away from block body. Wooden plate or section on top of body that can be raised by loosening wooden screw on top. Body branded with names "C.W. Rhymuss" and "H. Boker" "5/8"

Thought to be used to cut dowel rods. Knife blade missing.
