Description
Baseball used in Tri-Town Championship baseball game in 1958. White leather baseball with red stitching. Written in blue ink across baseball, "TRI-TOWN 1958/CHAMPION/DODGERS"; to the left in blue ink, "8-26-58/DODGERS - 4/GIANTS - 2"; and above in blue ink, "DAVE/DEAN/1958." Partially faded stamp, "OFFICIAL/Babe Ruth League/BASEBALL," with faded manufacturer's mark below.
Provenance
Tri-Town Little League (Litchfield, Goshen, Morris). Donor played for Dodgers and pitched in the championship game, recording 8 strikeouts. See scrapbook in the LHS archives collection (2021-05-0).
