Description
The rectangular mirror is mounted on a piece of pine with a shaped handle at one end. The mirror is held in place by thin bands of zince which is bent to form a frame and extends down on three sides of the wood and is tacked along the edges. Probably made in Connecticut. The zinc could have been scraps which left over by clock makers. "US" branded into handle. "MHC" carved on back.

This mirror was purchased at Dorothy MacDonald's in Bantam along with two others which were presented to the West Point Museum in New York
