Description
Rectangular wooden box. On top of lid is a small wooden grey mouse. A string is attached to the underside of the the top. When the string is pulled the lid slides forward and a cat jumps out of the inside of the box and onto the mouse. The sides of the box are covered with printed wallpaper in a geometric design. Ends of box are painted with diagonal red stripes and black squiggles. Label on box reads "This toy was given to Mary M. Jones by Harry Wessells Litchfield, CT, about 1860"
