Description
Award plaque presented to the Litchfield Studio of the Connecticut Volunteer Services for the Blind and Handicapped. Rectangular wood backing (MDF or other engineered wood) with applied dark woodgrain finish; beveled edges. Attached to front is rectangular plate of gold-colored metal. Attached to the plate is a smaller, rectangular piece of vinyl with printed pattern (resembling fabric). Vinyl has engraved lettering, in black, "Outstanding Service Award/Honoring/Litchfield Studio/Connecticut Volunteer Services for the/Blind and Handicapped/For exemplary dedication and expertise/in the production of talking books for the/Library of Congress/National Library Service/presented by/The Connecticut State Library/Library for the Blind and Physically/Handicapped/April 2015." Back side of the plaque has two hollows for hanging, one on the top and one on the side. Maker's label (sticker) at bottom.
