Description
G.A.R. round bronze medal with smooth rim. Front has left facing profile bust of Abraham Lincoln dated "1809" "1909" on either side. Inscription around edge of medal: "WITH / MALICE / TOWARD /NONE / WITH / CHARITY / FOR / ALL" Back side has laurel wreath around edge, center inscription "THIS MEDAL / WAS / STRUCK FOR/TH GRAND ARMY / OF THE REPUBLIC / IN COMMEMORATION / OF THE / 100TH ANNIVERSARY / OF THE BIRTH OF/ABRAHAM LINCOLN"
