Description
Slight lobate rim, gilt edge with gilt and blue band. Gold, red, and blue floral rim. Gilt and blue band in center with gilt and red floral spray.
Comment
Given to LHS because it matches platter C137 1275 (Mr. Robert Tallmadge 1912), which belonged to William Washington. Was brought to Charleston, South Carolina by Mrs. Thompson's mother whose slip reads "this plate was once the property of Col. Washington of Rev. fame."
