Description

G.A.R. Governor Buckingham ribbon. Dark red satin ribbon with top third folded over. Bottom edge folded and tacked into a point with a metallic thread tassel. Gold printing: "BUCKINGHAM (inside an arching banner) / (below is a bust of Governor William A. Buckingham of Connecticut, governor during the Civil War) / (another banner) JUNE 18TH 1884 / DECORATION." Safety pin along back of top edge.
