Blue/green background - shells at bottom, 2 fish at middle top, pink bubbles at top. Very fanciful appearance. Signed on lower right hand corner "Helen A. Cahill"
Comment
Helen Cahill was the daughter of Jane Antoinette Duffie Cahill who moved to Litchfield with Helen around 1900. Helen was a librarian at the Wolcott Library and worked at the Litchfield Savings Society. She married Sutherland Beckwith. She died in 1929 from complications in childbirth.
