Description
Woman's petticoat. White cotton full length, flat at front waistband, gathered at back with button closure. Horizontal band of white embroidery at mid-calf level, above an inset of crochet lace, above two narrow box pleats, above an inset of crochet lace, above a band of white embroidery, all above a wide ruffle of crochet lace around hemline. Worn by Margaret Sargent Fisher under her wedding dress on April 18, 1895.
