Underneath droplet is a rectangular bar that contains words "Gallon Donor" In between "Gallon" and "Donor" is a number. Numbers represented on pins are 2,3,7,11,8. One droplet has no rectangular bar underneath. This represents 1 gallon of donated blood. Pin designated with the number 8 has a long stick pin that comes below bottom of droplet.
