White dress; shallow V neck on front and back; wide shoulder line with embroidered band from sleeve to hem and dwon center front; embroidered border around top tucked across chest; plain back with ribbed seam; brass hooks fasten down back; plain skirt gathered tightly at waist; 13" from bottom of skirt is 2 1/2" border of fine cotton mull embroidered with floral bands of leaves and flowers
