Description
Two remnants or possibly small towels. Homespun white linen. Diamond in diamond design woven throughout remnant. A - one side hemmed, one selvage. Two remaining sides frayed. B - One selvage edge. Remaining three sides frayed. Stitched in upper left hand corner of both remnants in red thread, "LDP/ 6."
Comment
The initials "LDP" refer to Lucretia Deming Perkins, mother of Mary Perkins Quincy.
