Short semi-circular shaped cape with calashe shaped hook attached at back of neck; apricot wool challis lined with ivory silk; quilted over a thin layer of cotton batting; hook with draw string; gathers at front; rounded and seamed in center; scalloped at edge and embroidered in ivory silk with small dots above bound edge; neck is fastened with braided silk cord with a knotted tassel at end; similar knotted fringe on a woven heading edges the bottom of the cloak; cloak is edged at front with narrow white gimp with pulled edge; front edges and bottom are embroidered in white and ivory silk in sprays of leaves and berries with tendrils Label inside cloak "Martha Lee Hazard"
